  • Voices of Toodyay Artists

    Toodyay | Dates: 30 – 30 Apr, 2017
    The Shire of Toodyay's art collection will be exhibited for one day only at the Wicklow Shearing Shed on Sunday 30 April, 10am - 3.30pm. The inspiration behind the creation of many of the Shire of Toodyay's artworks is often hidden, as are the works themselves.
  • Hot Shore Shuffle - The Sri Lankan Cultural Society of Western Australia

    The Stand Up Surf Shop Rottnest Classic will return to Strickland Bay, Rottnest Island from 4 - 7 May, 2017. Forming part of the Rottnest Surf Festival, this event will offer WA's richest SUP surfing prize pool whilst showcasing one of WA's most uniqe surf locations, Rottnest Island.
  • WA Inspired Art Quilters

    Mundaring | Dates: 05 May – 18 Jun, 2017
    Mundaring Arts Centre presents WA Inspired Art Quilters from 5 May - 18 June in Gallery 1. Using needle and thread instead of paint and brush the WA Inspired Art Quilt Group, consisting of eight like-minded award-winning quilters, create contemporary quilts that share kinship with painters as much as they do with traditional hand sewers.
  • One Hundred & Three of Me

    Mundaring Arts Centre present Artist in Focus, Alistair Taylor in One Hundred & Three of Me from 5 May - 18 June in Gallery 2. In the course of a not uncommon discombobulation with the dreaded Facebook, Alastair Taylor managed to lose his page and, in the ensuing search, discovered an alarming number of Alastair Taylors all over the world.

  • Baroque By Candlelight Armadale

    Perth Chamber Orchestra (PCO) returns for a second year with an amazing program from its acclaimed Baroque by Candlelight concert series on Saturday 6 May. The exquisite interior of St Matthew's Church in Armadale will be flooded with the soft flickering light of hundreds of candles once again as the PCO string musicians bring the music of the Baroque era to life.

The Toodyay locals dress in 1800 century costume and encourage everyone to dress in period costume and contribute to the festivals atmosphere, street theatre and fun antics.
