Are you a first timer or do you just occasionally dabble in bushwalking? This is a great way to learn about what the Bibbulmun Track has to offer you. The walk (approx. 12km with some hills) takes you through mixed jarrah forest with views over the Mundaring Weir to a Bibbulmun Track campsite.
Do you really know how to use a compass? Steve will guide you through a series of practical and theoretical exercises on and near the Bibbulmun Track in Mundaring on Sunday 23 April. Get Lost with Steve and you will have fun learning and perfecting basic map reading and compass skills.
Stunt riders, demonstrations, FMX trials, market stalls and live music featured at the 2016 York Motorcycle Festival on Sunday 23 April. ANZAC Day is a solemn day of remembrance, gratitude and national pride. The Returned & Services League of Australia, Western Australia Branch Incorporated (RSLWA) hold an annual Dawn Service at the State War Memorial in Kings Park and Botanic Garden to pay respect to the men and women who have served and continue to serve our great nation.
Join the City of Fremantle for a moving ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Fremantle War Memorial, Monument Hill at 5:50am, Tuesday 25 April 2017. Two large screens will be installed behind the monument, with a third screen installed further down the hill on the High Street side of the reserve so that all attendees can clearly see the service on the cenotaph.
Join Rottnest Island commemorate those who have served their country with a special dawn service on ANZAC Day, 25 April 2017 followed by a Gunfire Breakfast, free ANZAC themed activities for families and an Oliver Hill Gun & Tunnels tour. Ferry and tour packages are available through Rottnest Express and Rottnest Fast Ferries.
