The Ball & Chain is on the hunt for the best man mane in Perth and they've got some great prizes up for grabs. There are five categories to enter: Full beard, Partial beard, Moustache, Mutton chops and Alternative.
  • The Marriage of Figaro

    Mandurah | Dates: 19 – 19 Aug, 2017
    Opera Australia presents Mozart's brillian opera, The Marriage of Figaro, at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Saturday 19 August. This new production follows the adventures of a household over one crazy day. Masters are lusting over their servants, servants are outwitting their masters - Figaro is the Downton Abbey of opera, but a whole lot more fun!
  • Fraser's Wine & Cheese Masterclasses: Raclette, Mountain Cheese and Charcuterie

    Join Blue Cow Cheese Company and Fraser's Restaurant to bring wonderful farmhouse cheeses matched to unique wines from some of the best regions in the world, including our very own. The series continues on 23 August with the theme of Raclette, Mountain Cheese and Charcuterie.

    Asher Fisch Conducts Mozart & Mahler at the Perth Concert Hall on Friday 25 & Saturday 26 August, 7.30pm. A titanic struggle with the forces of fate. Conceived on a gigantic scale, Mahler's Sixth is a symphony of extreme expressive intensity, demanding enormous interpretive commitment from both conductor and orchestra.
  • Bibbulmun Track L-plates Pub Plod

    Mundaring | Dates: 27 – 27 Aug, 2017
    Are you a first timer or do you just occasionally dabble in bushwalking? This is a great way to learn about what the Bibbulmun Track has to offer you. The walk (approx. 12km with some hills) takes you through mixed jarrah forest with views over the Mundaring Weir to a Bibbulmun Track campsite.

  • Balloon Fiesta 2017

    The Northam Balloon Fiesta 2017 will launch on 2 September! This spectacular event will be held on Henry St Oval from 4pm and will be packed with entertainment and delight this event is not to missed. Enjoy a live stage show, Balloon Discovery Zone, carnival rides, show bags, markets and more. This events is held in celebration of the 2017 National Ballooning Championships.
