BEST OF PERTH IN SPRING
Did you know that WA's Humpback Highway experiences the largest whale migration in the Southern Hemisphere? In April, the whales leave the rich feeding grounds of Antartica to raise their young in the warm in WA's north west. Their return journey brings them close to Perth's coast from September - December.
Warm weather, sunny skies and heaps of family-friendly activities - it's the perfect recipe for the perfect school holiday break! Check out our guide to making the most of the upcoming WA school holidays, from 23 September - 8 October, for heaps of fun workshops, events, activities and special offers available across the region.
Celebrate the race that stops a nation, the Melbourne Cup, in Perth on Tuesday 7 November, 2017. See the restaurants and venues around Perth offering fun and exciting Melbourne Cup events.
Join the celebrations on 28 October with SPECIAL return ferry fares from just $29. Rottnest Island transforms into a freakishly fine day and a spooky evening full of mouth-watering food, dancing, activities and entertainment.
