The Universe is a curious place - more so than we ever imagined. Dark Universe celebrates a new age of cosmic discovery as well as its deepest mysteries.
Dark Universe features spectacular scenes of recent spacecraft, such as the Galileo probe’s breathtaking plunge into Jupiter’s atmosphere. You will see the most accurate visualisations ever produced, such as a Milky Way galaxy spangled with exploding supernovas, and novel renderings of hotly discussed phenomena, like dark matter.
As scientists unravel the complexities of the cosmos, key findings are revealing amazing new frontiers for exploration. Come along on a journey about what we already know, and about the mysteries we have yet to solve, in Dark Universe, a Space Show in the Scitech Planetarium
Dark Universe was developed by the American Museum of Natural History, New York (www.amnh.org), in collaboration with the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco, and GOTO INC, Tokyo, Japan.
Dark Universe will be on at the planatarium at Scitech from 24 September, 2016 to 30 January 2017. For more information visit www.scitech.org.au/dark-universe.
